Money HQ on Android, iPhone and the web at musenexus.ca

Email support@musenexus.ca and a person reads it. Tell us which device you are on and what you were doing — that is usually enough to work out the rest.

Cancelling

Money HQ never takes the payment itself, so it cannot cancel one either — the store you bought it from holds the subscription, and that is where it is cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep everything you paid for until the date it would have renewed.

Getting a paid plan back

There is no button for this, and there does not need to be one. Sign in to the same Google or Apple account you bought it with and the app asks the store what you own the moment it opens. A new phone, a reinstall, a cleared app — all the same: it comes back on its own.

If it does not, email us with the store account you bought it on and we will look.

Changing plan

Individual, Couple and Family are three separate products, and moving between them happens in the app rather than here. Moving up takes effect straight away. Moving down takes effect at your next renewal, because you have already paid for the rest of this period — until then you keep the plan you paid for.

Where your data is

On your device. Money HQ is offline-first: what you enter is written to storage on the phone or the browser you entered it on, and it stays there. Nothing is uploaded unless you deliberately create an account for family sharing or Split & Settle, and a child profile never leaves the device at all.

The full detail — every field, every service, every retention period — is in the privacy policy.

Uninstalling deletes it. If your data lives only on the device, removing the app or clearing its storage removes the data with it, and we hold no copy to restore from. Export first if you want to keep it.

Deleting your account

If you created an account for family sharing or Split & Settle, you can have it erased. Ask for deletion here, or email support@musenexus.ca from the address you signed up with with the subject “Delete my account”. What is erased, and how long it takes, is written down in the privacy policy.

Deleting the account does not touch what is on your device. That is yours, and it is removed by removing the app.

Something is wrong

Send us these three things and we will almost always be able to answer from them:

If it is about a payment, add the store account you bought it on. We cannot see a Google or Apple receipt from our side, so that is the one thing we have to ask you for.
